Reunion Weekend Recap

And just like that—1969 was 50 years ago.

Dateline: September 27–28: At the Friday afternoon Homecoming Parade, we were all set to ride in the State Farm Fire Truck when a storm came through and the parade was cancelled. The disappointed viewing contingent consoled themselves at downtown restaurants/bars.

The party continued at the Geneva History Museum in the evening. This wonderful downtown facility was the perfect venue for catching up and rekindling friendships.

Saturday night we gathered at the elegant 120-year-old Geneva Golf Club. Classmates visited amongst the displays of our High School memorabilia and enjoyed a delicious catered dinner. After dinner, we got together for the class picture. The evening ended all too soon.

Your reunion committee would like to thank all our classmates who were able to attend Friday and Saturday night festivities. Suddenly we all felt like we were back in high school again – a little older, a little more mature, a little greyer and hopefully a little wiser. We appreciated all the positive comments.

Please keep your information updated on the website. We’re all looking forward to seeing you in 5 years!

Thank you to everyone who sent in pictures for the video. A special thanks to Barb Babian who compiled them into this “super cool, might fine” video:
